Search Process

Our approach to recruitment will be tailored to meet the Client’s needs and objectives. The normal approach for conducting search consists of a six stage process as set forth below.

Stage 1 – Environmental Mapping: To establish a joint understanding of the Client’s organization, business model and requirements which serve as a basis for the search as well as creating a unanimous and unbiased job behaviour benchmark characteristics required for on-the-job success.

Stage 2 – Development of Candidate Pool: Conducting original research to identify the target market and companies and long-list potentially qualified Candidates. We will provide “snapshot” reports or confidential profiles on the long-listed Candidates as well as the candidate psychometric assessment feedback report at this stage to map-out candidates against the job benchmark created by your hiring managers.

Stage 3 – Long-list Candidate Qualification: Based on these “snapshot” reports, we will review with the Client the “long list” of qualified Candidates to determine which Candidates are most appropriate for further consideration. We will then interview and evaluate selected potential Candidates to draw up a shortlist of Candidates which will be presented for the Client’s consideration. A brief overview on qualified Candidates will be presented to the Client. It will include Candidate background, education and chronological career highlights as provided by the Candidates.

Stage 4 – Client Candidate Interviews: Subsequently we will coordinate arrangements for Client in-depth interviews with chosen Candidates. We will strive to present “benchmark” Candidates as identified in Assessment of Job Fit for Sandra Sample to be interviewed by the Client within the first thirty (30) working days of the Assignment.

Stage 5 – Candidate Due Diligence: We will conduct reference checks; if requested by the Client; on final Candidates, speaking directly with individuals who are, or have been, in a position to offer perspective on the Candidate’s performance on the job. The findings will be reported to the Client in writing.

Stage 6 – Negotiation, Closure and On-boarding: The Client will make the final selection and offer of employment. If requested by the Client, HR will assist in recruitment of the final Candidate of choice, and will be available to help negotiate appropriate compensation and other aspects of the employment offer. Where an offer has been extended or accepted; the Client is required to inform in writing as well as email a copy of the original signed offer letter by the Candidate to HR

We strongly recommend that you create a job benchmark before the interviewing stage begins.
